3-Day Activity Package
In Inari, winter unfolds in a calm, unhurried way. The days gently grow shorter, the snow slowly deepens, and a soft polar glow settles over the landscape. Life in the north naturally adjusts to the cold and the quiet, following the peaceful rhythm of nature instead of rushing against it.
This 3-day winter activity package follows that same easy local pace. With All Seasons Lapland, your holiday is spent as a welcomed guest sharing everyday Arctic life, rather than as a visitor hurrying through a checklist of sights. Activities are planned according to the weather, so they may not take place in exactly the order shown below.
Included: Needed equipment such as winter overalls, helmets & winter boots. We will provide a meal each day.
Day 1 — The Roots of the North with a meal
Spend time at the Siida Sámi Museum and Nature Centre to understand how life has been sustained here through the eight seasons for thousands of years. Learn about the Sámi people, the indigenous people group living in Northern Sweden, Norway, Finland and Russia.
Afterwards, the story moves from the museum to the table as you join a local family for a meal in their home to share food and honest conversation about life above the Arctic Circle.
Day 2 — The Great Outdoors
Experience a snowmobile and ice-fishing trip with a campfire lunch, surrounded by winter landscapes and crisp Arctic air. This journey follows a relaxed pace with no set return time; we stay out as long as the group wishes, heading back only as the darkness settles in. A mini-snowmobile is available for kids, offering a safe way for younger adventurers to ride.
Spend the evening at a private lakeside cottage, a perfect place to spot the Aurora. Enjoy the Finnish sauna, and after the heat, use the outdoor hot tub, or take a dip in the ice-cold water. Following the sauna, a home-cooked dinner featuring local ingredients is served inside the cottage. On a clear night, the Aurora may illuminate the sky, transforming the moment into a special experience.
